Simon is an adventure and outdoor photographer with a passion for being cold, wet, sweaty and generally uncomfortable.
Based in Sheffield, the “Outdoor City”, Simon likes nothing more than being in the mountains or hills either on the end of a rope, sat in a saddle or clipped into a snowboard.
It’s not just the activity or the adventure, it’s about the people you meet along the way. I’ve got some really close friends as a result of a chance meeting where the two of you just click! This has simply been due to getting out and doing what you enjoy.
I love getting out with like minded people and capturing images that provoke emotions and have an aspirational effect on others.
Some images have to be caught in the moment, you’re not just taking a picture you’re capturing a specific moment in time that cannot be replicated, but some images you have thought about beforehand. You have an idea, talk through it with others. You wait until the light is right and you have fun trying to nail that tail whip at just the right moment.
Whether it’s a product or services shoot for a website or publication, or it’s an event or personal experience. Simon is happy to follow wherever the adventure leads and is always up for a challenge.
